ITI designed and developed an intricate quotation system as a custom extension to the Oracle Financial Applications for Alcatel. The system supports sales personnel with price quote configurations for very complex products. Adding to this complexity, once the price quotes have followed the approval process they're automatically exported to the Oracle Financials' Order Entry module. This system is also capable of importing pre-configured sections from Excel Workbooks. ITI also converted the Order Entry module from character based interface to Windows. ITI currently maintains both the Quotation and Order Entry systems for Alcatel.

Noble is an independent energy company engaged in the exploration, development, production and marketing of crude oil and natural gas. In December 2004, Noble announced an agreement to merge with Patina Oil & Gas Corporation (Patina) which was concluded in May 2005. After the Merger, Noble Energy Production, Inc. (NEPI) was formed as a wholly-owned subsidiary containing the properties acquired from Patina as well as pre-merger Noble properties located in the RockyMountain and Mid-Continent regions.

Exploration activities include geophysical and geological evaluation and exploratory drilling on properties for which the Company has exploration rights. The Company has exploration, exploitation and production operations domestically and internationally. The domestic areas consist of: offshore in the Gulf of Mexico and California; the Gulf Coast Region (Louisiana and Texas); the Mid-continent Region (Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma, and Kansas); and the Rocky Mountain Region (Colorado, Montana, Nevada, Wyoming and California). The international areas of operations include Argentina, China, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, the Mediterranean Sea (Israel) and the North Sea (the Netherlands and the United Kingdom).

With the recent acquisition of Patina, Noble's current information management environment is operating using two different information management systems. The legacy Noble systems were developed in RPG for an AS/400 environment. The current servers are IBM iServers running OS/400. The database used on the OS/400 servers is DB2. One instance of the system is in place for all U.S. locations, Israel, UK, Equatorial Guinea, and Ecuador locations also have an iServer running OS/400 with a modified copy of the application set. NEPI runs the Excalibur application suite on an HP 9000 with HP-UX using the Unidata database.

Noble decided to replace its IT systems with standard ERP software from Oracle with industry specific capabilities from P2 Energy Solutions. Some third party applications, as well as some functions performed by legacy systems stayed in place. The ERP system was developed to exchange information with the remaining applications via standard interfaces and new interfaces be developed for that purpose.

International Technology & P2ES worked jointly to manage and implementation of P2ES applications

ITI has been a trusted partner of QED solutions for 14 years, and has worked together on multiple projects.

One being at BJ services, where we Managed a development team to design and build an Oracle Sales Force Automation application. The application was a full life-cycle development using Oracle's Designer and Developer (Forms/Reports) tool set. The technical architecture utilized advanced Oracle Replication throughout the application to share information between the corporate database and the field operation laptop databases running Personal Oracle. Primary responsibilities included analysis and design, development and implementation for the database, Forms and Reports. At the time, this was Oracle's largest implementation using Oracle Replication.

On other client where ITI worked with QED was at Shell. ITI was responsible for integrating Oracle's Energy application with Shell's existing SAP software. This contract included extensive database administration (DBA) work in a worldwide, distributed environment.

ITI and Texaco have had a successful relationship since 1996. ITI assisted with the implementation of Oracle's Health and Safety (OHS) application and developed a Windows-based data import automation tool. ITI is currently an on-site member of the systems database administration team, responsible for the up-time of 35 mission-critical databases. ITI is also a proud member of Texaco's Technology Steering Committee, which is currently evaluating new technologies to support Texaco's e-commerce strategy.

ITI, using Oracle applications release 11.0.5 rolled out Oracle Purchasing and it's various customizations and conversions for Tropicana. This massive project offered the functionality that allowed the Tropicana business to procure items seamlessly from it's list of suppliers, cutting down paperwork, manual intervention and above all the processing time from procurement to delivery, thereby allowing Tropicana to plan, produce, market and sell in much lesser time. By deploying Oracle Purchasing on the intranet and Oracle Self-Service Web application over both internet and intranet allowed both Tropicana users and external suppliers to access the features common to both the communities. To optimize their manufacturing processes, Tropicana opted for two applications - Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) and Tropicana's customized Automatic Data Collection (ADC). The OPM modules (Inventory, Financial, Process Planning, Process Execution and Multi Batch) were installed and used in standard configuration - from the Tropicana intranet. The ADC application is a wireless application software in which all the data was collected from the plant floor using hand-held scanning and data entry devices. The technology involved in the application was very infrastructure oriented - from rolling out a complete different RF Wireless network to configuring the application servers - which also hosted the Oracle 8.1.6 database where all the data from the floor was eventually captured and processed. The complexity of the application was accentuated by various conversion processes and IM (Intermediate Management), which integrated OPM and ADC. In addition to OPM, ADC also linked many existing legacy applications to OPM.
