Clients // Case Studies
International Tech is committed to the power and vitality of our
organization through the trust we place in our employees and the
learning experiences gained from our clients. We partner with our
clients to provide them the skills, depth of knowledge and resources
needed to implement technology driven solutions. This is a partial
list of companies that we have helped:
ITI designed and developed an intricate quotation system as a custom
extension to the Oracle Financial Applications for Alcatel. The system
supports sales personnel with price quote configurations for very
complex products. Adding to this complexity, once the price quotes
have followed the approval process they're automatically exported to
the Oracle Financials' Order Entry module. This system is also capable
of importing pre-configured sections from Excel Workbooks.
ITI also converted the Order Entry module from character based
interface to Windows. ITI currently maintains both the Quotation
and Order Entry systems for Alcatel.
ITI has a long and prestigious history with Oracle Corporation. One
of the many joint projects ITI has performed was assisting with the
design and development of the Oracle Health and Safety (OHS) application.
This extensive application is a comprehensive health and safety management
system specifically developed for large corporations such as Texaco
and Amoco. Oracle and ITI have enjoyed many years as true "business
partners"; working closely and aggressively with clients, bringing
combined, proven capabilities and talents to the table over various
projects.
The South Texas Project generating station occupies a 12,200-acre
site (including a 7,000 acre reservoir) on the Colorado River about
90 miles southwest of Houston. ITI has successfully completed numerous
projects at this facility since 1997 and currently maintains a
successful working relationship. Some of the projects have included:
Design and development of a Preventive Maintenance System. The system
assigns, tracks and reports on all critical activities related to the
maintenance of various plant systems, components and structures.
Assisted with the implementation of PeopleSoft's Human Resource
Management System (HRMS), including interfaces to STP's purchasing
and treasury applications.
Installed PeopleSoft Financials with a conversion of mainframe legacy
data and interfaces to their distribution system.
Made extension modifications to STP's AP, GL, Project Costing, Asset
Management and Payroll applications including EFT's and check printing.
ITI and Texaco have had a successful relationship since 1996. ITI
assisted with the implementation of Oracle's Health and Safety (OHS)
application and developed a Windows-based data import automation tool.
ITI is currently an on-site member of the systems database administration
team, responsible for the up-time of 35 mission-critical databases. ITI
is also a proud member of Texaco's Technology Steering Committee, which
is currently evaluating new technologies to support Texaco's e-commerce
strategy.
The World Bank Headquarters is located in Washington DC and serves all
nations of the world, in particular those with developing economies.
In 1997, two of the World Bank buildings were restructured and pin-wheeled
together to create a larger working environment.
As a result of this massive expansion, ITI designed and developed a
Windows-based, Multi-currency Note application for the financial
operations department of the World Bank. This application manages
the bank's short-term loans and related currency conversions. ITI also
developed enhancements to World Bank's Liability Management System
track and report on interest rates and yields.
ITI developed enhancements to Boeing's convoluted Design and Control
of Aircraft Configuration (DCAC) system. These enhancements automated
the order entry process from data entry to shop floor specifications.
ITI also developed interfaces between DCAC and Boeing's project
management system and computer-aided production planner.
On-site since 1996, ITI designed and developed three major applications
on behalf of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service:
A web-based, on-line reporting tool for grant management and tracking
fiscal activity.
· A fully automated workflow management system for routing and tracking
the approval process of federal aid proposals from state agencies.
· An interface between the Federal Aid Information Management System
(FAIMS) and the Federal Financial System (FFS).
ITI assisted Uncoal with the implementation of Oracle Energy, including
legacy database conversions and integration with upstream applications.
This integration is completely automated and is responsible for
production and revenue tracking, revenue forecasting and marketing.
One enhancement to the system reduced the data entry cycle or orders
from fifteen days to, literally, a click of a mouse. ITI went on to
help implement Oracle Financials at Unocal.
ITI was responsible for integrating Oracle's Energy application with
Shell's existing SAP software. This contract included extensive database
administration (DBA) work in a worldwide, distributed environment.
ITI has worked with Wellness Plan on numerous projects. One of those
projects includes includes the development/enhancement and maintenance
of their Patient Process System, Scheduling System, Point of Service
System (which scans membership cards at the doctor's office to verify
eligibility on-line), AMISYS System (which manages membership, providers,
encounters, claims and billing), Request Management System (project
management), and Invoice System.
JPMorgan Chase is a major participant in the strongest, most vibrant
capital markets in the world, operating across various businesses and
geographies. ITI was contracted to provide complete team support
including functional, technical and administrative, 24/7 for 15 separate
PeopleSoft General Ledger installations spanning throughout Asia,
Australia, Europe and South America.
JPMorgan Chase chose PeopleSoft GL for all their medium to small offices
around the world, with each office having their own environment (db, App.
Server, etc.). ITI played a key role in their upgrade to PeopleSoft
version 8. ITI was then contracted to train all employees in their
European Technology Center located in Scotland, on all aspects of
PeopleSoft to enable JP Morgan Chase to bring the support function
in-house at all of their locations using PeopleSoft.
ITI, using Oracle applications release 11.0.5 rolled out Oracle
Purchasing and it's various customizations and conversions for
Tropicana. This massive project offered the functionality that allowed
the Tropicana business to procure items seamlessly from it's list of
suppliers, cutting down paperwork, manual intervention and above all
the processing time from procurement to delivery, thereby allowing
Tropicana to plan, produce, market and sell in much lesser time.
By deploying Oracle Purchasing on the intranet and Oracle Self-Service
Web application over both internet and intranet allowed both Tropicana
users and external suppliers to access the features common to both the
communities.
To optimize their manufacturing processes, Tropicana opted for two
applications - Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) and Tropicana's
customized Automatic Data Collection (ADC). The OPM modules (Inventory,
Financial, Process Planning, Process Execution and Multi Batch) were
installed and used in standard configuration - from the Tropicana
intranet. The ADC application is a wireless application software in
which all the data was collected from the plant floor using hand-held
scanning and data entry devices. The technology involved in the
application was very infrastructure oriented - from rolling out a
complete different RF Wireless network to configuring the application
servers - which also hosted the Oracle 8.1.6 database where all the
data from the floor was eventually captured and processed. The
complexity of the application was accentuated by various conversion
processes and IM (Intermediate Management), which integrated OPM and
ADC. In addition to OPM, ADC also linked many existing legacy applications
to OPM.
